At Autism Escape Rehabilitation Therapy Services, our Occupational Therapy program helps children develop the essential physical, sensory, cognitive, and self-care skills needed for everyday life. We focus on improving independence, confidence, and participation at home, school, and in the community.
Every therapy session is tailored to your child’s unique strengths and developmental needs using fun, engaging, and evidence-based activities.
Occupational Therapy helps children gain the practical skills they need to participate confidently in everyday activities. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, or motor coordination difficulties often require additional support to perform routine tasks independently.
Our occupational therapists assess each child’s abilities and create personalized therapy programs that strengthen motor development, sensory integration, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
Using structured play, therapeutic exercises, sensory activities, and functional training, we help children become more confident, independent, and better prepared for school and daily life.
Parents are actively involved throughout the therapy journey with guidance and home-based activities that reinforce progress beyond the therapy center.
We improve hand strength, finger control, grasp patterns, handwriting readiness, cutting, coloring, buttoning, and other activities that require precise hand movements.
Children learn to better process and respond to sensory information such as touch, sound, movement, balance, and textures, helping them stay calm, focused, and comfortable in different environments.
Our therapists teach children essential self-care skills including dressing, eating independently, grooming, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene to promote greater independence.
Activities focus on improving posture, balance, coordination, body awareness, bilateral coordination, and overall physical confidence needed for school and play.
Parents receive personalized strategies, home exercises, and practical recommendations to continue therapy goals in everyday routines and maximize long-term progress.
